Television Centre The Ariel
As the previous home of the BBC for over 50 years, the Television Centre is a unique site in West London. As a sophisticated working studio complex, the site has become home to the nation’s many memories and a historic Grade II listed building. Now undergoing redevelopment, the new site is set to be residential homes, offices, restaurants and stores, all whilst protecting the building’s original function as a home for British broadcasting.
Working closely alongside Stanhope, The Boundary has worked on crafting a series of over 20 CGIs, a Marketing Film, 8 Real-time Tours alongside a series of Real-time images and animations per unit, in addition to a Real-time Masterplan and Building Orbit, all housed within The Boundary’s Realspace platform.
With two new residential buildings, ‘The Ariel’ will stand at 25-storeys, comprising a total of 167 apartments and townhouses, designed by AHMM Architects.
The Boundary CGIs highlight both interiors and exteriors of the redevelopment, focusing on the amenities offered. The Real-time Virtual Tours showcases the residential units allowing future homeowners to explore the location of their home in addition to the interiors and exteriors. The sales agents, both Savills and Knight Frank, can call out local amenities and points of interest using Realspace, providing a full visual and immersive experience of what life living at The Ariel would look like.
