Description
The role of the Technical Project Manager is to lead a project team consisting of external client stakeholders as well as Boundary production talent, through the project life cycle using planning, budgeting, scheduling, resourcing and tracking tools to meet an agreed project plan. The Technical project manager will be working on technical-focused projects, such as Realspace SaaS, Virtual Tours or Digital Twins deployments. This will involve working with clients, IT departments and 3rd parties to ensure successful planning and deployment of systems in display suites in GCC and the USA.
This role is based 100% at our office in Camden (NW1 7DJ) but may require some adhoc travel to client sites in the Middle East and USA.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement projects
- Help define project scope, goals and deliverables
- Allocation and management of project resources
- Create a schedule and project timeline
- Track deliverables
- Monitor and report on project progress
- Implement and manage change when necessary to meet project outputs
- Evaluate and assess the result of the project
- Communicate and manage adherence to site installation and setup requirements, including ensuring correct PCs are purchased, internet connectivity is set up, and, when integrating with 3rd party software or hardware, that risks and issues have been planned and mitigated.
Requirements
- Previous experience in managing technical Projects which involve both software and hardware.
- A solid understanding of networking, the Microsoft Windows environment and integration with display & lighting systems.
- Methodical and analytical approach
- Capable of leading multiple projects at the same time under pressure
- Excellent communication skills to a range of audiences
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with 3rd party suppliers.
- Problem-solving and leadership skills
- Highly numerate
- Strong attention to detail
- A positive team player able to motivate, support and reassure
You will have skills, experience and knowledge in the following:
- Microsoft Office – particularly Excel and Word at an intermediate level
- Google suite
- Network + and Microsoft Certified Professional or equivalent certifications.
- 3+ years experience in technical installation (for example events, retail environments)
- Ideally a background in architectural visualisation, real estate, interior design or marketing
