Description
The Boundary APAC is seeking a highly motivated and strategic Executive Project Manager to join our production team. This is a pivotal role where you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our project delivery, driving operational excellence and ensuring consistent, high-quality results for our prestigious client portfolio.
Reporting directly to the Head of Production, you will be a key driver of strategic project delivery, taking ownership of complex initiatives and ensuring they align with our overarching business objectives. You will be the go-to expert for our Senior and Intermediate Project Managers, providing guidance, mentorship and acting as the first point of escalation to navigate challenges and ensure project success.
Key Accountabilities
Project Leadership
- Oversee the delivery of high-profile, high-value projects, ensuring timelines, budgets and quality benchmarks are met.
- Lead pre-production planning and kickoff activities, ensuring accurate scoping and strategic alignment.
- Step in to manage complex or at-risk projects when required.
Studio & Resource Management
- Support the allocation of internal and freelance resources in coordination with the Head of Production.
- Support the allocation of internal and freelance resources in coordination with Project Managers across all Boundary offices
- Ensure project resourcing aligns with capability, availability and client expectations.
- Support long-term capacity planning and studio utilisation targets.
People Leadership
- Provide coaching, mentorship and support professional development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance.
Governance & Escalation
- Serve as an escalation point for operational and delivery issues.
- Monitor project performance, scope changes and risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are in place.
Process Improvement
- Drive the evolution and implementation of scalable, efficient production processes.
- Support retrospectives and post-project reviews, turning insights into process improvements.
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships at a strategic level.
- Ensure project communication is proactive, solutions-oriented and consistent.
Financial Oversight
- Partner with Finance to ensure accurate forecasting, billing and margin tracking.
- Monitor financial performance against project budgets and studio KPIs.
Deputising for Head of Production
- Represent Production in senior leadership meetings as required.
- Support strategic planning and decision-making in the Head of Production’s absence.
- Drive cross-functional alignment between Production, Sales and Creative.
Requirements
Experience & Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in project or production leadership within a digital, visualisation or creative services environment.
- Proven experience leading large-scale projects and teams across geographies and time zones.
- Experience working in architectural visualisation is a plus.
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of financial performance metrics (margin, ROI, EBITDA).
- Demonstrated experience managing senior stakeholders and complex client relationships.
- Proficiency with production and planning tools (e.g., Monday.com, Forecast, Jira, Google Suite).
